In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 Maps and Navigation applications in the United Kingdom showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, as reported by Sensor Tower.

OS Maps: Explore hiking trails saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $126K in the week of August 30. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 11.7K in mid-August but dropping to 7.1K by the end of September. Active users showed a slight decline from 40.6K to 35.9K throughout the quarter.

Circuit Route Planner experienced a notable rise in weekly revenue, especially towards the end of the quarter, reaching around $35.3K in the last week of September. Downloads peaked at 5K in mid-September but fell to 2.7K by the end of the month. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing to 8.1K in mid-September before decreasing to 6.7K.

Navionics® Boating had a steady decline in both weekly revenue and downloads. Revenue started at $21.2K in late June and dropped to $9.4K by the end of September. Downloads mirrored this trend, decreasing from 1.1K to 532. Active users also saw a downward trend, ending the quarter with 1.4K users.
